Where the Wendts Went: Another treatment & other stuff:

So here is another page in the saga that is Carly's Treatment.... This is how she looks when they bring her back to us. Not the most pleasant thing to see as a mom. But she is just sleeping.

As soon as she wakes up enough to realize she has a tube thing in her mouth she immediately pulls it out!

And now she's ready to go home! This picture was only about 10 minutes from the time they brought her back from the O.R. She's enjoying her breakfast finally! (She has to fast for the procedure)

I want to say a huge HUGE THANKS A MILLION to McKenna and Denise!! McKenna stayed with Nolan and Tatum from 6:00AM (Danny went to work!) all the way until 11:45AM when Tatum caught the bus for school. She got the kids ready and fed.... all the stuff the mom usually does but I wasn't able to do. She was really a life saver. Really. You know who else is awesome? Denise Hollinger. She let us stay in her house which is like 20 minutes from the hospital. It was so comfy and welcoming. I hate having to ask to stay with people and I also hate to pay $100 for a hotel for 12 hours. So if you are reading this Denise: i heart you! THANKS!!!!!!!

Alrighty-

Nolan is still playing baseball. He had a great hit on Saturday's game! Everyone cheered for him and hugged him. He made it all the way to 3rd base, then there were 3 outs so he didn't get to run across home plate, but he made sure to tell Dad that he did a big hit!

Oh Tatum. She is a goofball! We just love her! She tells me,"Take a picture of me doing this face!"
So I do. And yes she is the best sister ever as her shirt claims.

Carly is taking swim lessons from a fantastic girl Molly. It's a private lesson because the lessons at the public pool are a joke and a waste of my money. Here, she actually learns how to swim. She can backfloat and jump in the water. After only 2 lessons she was putting her face underwater and kicking her legs... which was pretty incredible considering she was terrified to do that only days before. Best money spent year to date: swim lessons!

And sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but here's another bummer: Our friends are moving. :( This is Carly and her friend Gray Wellard. We will miss them, but we're excited and happy for their new opportunity! Side note: Carly's Gpa and Gray's Gpa grew up together in Idaho Falls. Small world!
